Terms of service

Plain enough to actually read.

LAST UPDATED 21 SEPTEMBER 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Quest Consulting Group LLC, doing business as Tap For Reviews (“we”, “us”). They govern your purchase and use of Tap For Reviews products and the service behind them. Buying a card or creating an account means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to.

2. What you are buying

A physical card or display carrying a permanent web address, and access to the service that decides where that address sends people. The hardware is yours outright. The dashboard is a subscription.

3. Your card keeps working

A card you have bought and claimed will continue redirecting to the destination you set, for as long as we operate, whether or not you hold a subscription. Changing that destination requires an active subscription. We will not switch off a card you paid for.

4. Card identifiers are permanent

Each card carries a unique identifier written at manufacture and locked. It is never reassigned to anyone else, ever, for any reason. If you lose a card, tell us and we will unbind it so it stops sending people to your listing.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use this service to:

  • Gate, filter, screen or route reviews by sentiment. Attempting to route customers based on a rating before they reach a public review platform is a material breach of these terms and we will close the account.
  • Offer any incentive conditioned on a review being positive.
  • Point a card at a business you do not own or represent.
  • Solicit reviews from people who were not genuinely customers.
  • Report reviews you simply disagree with as policy violations.

Clause 5 exists because the practice it prohibits is the reason this company was started. It is not boilerplate.

6. Google

Your use of anything touching Google reviews is also subject to Google's terms and content policies. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of Google LLC. Google is a trademark of Google LLC.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you chose until cancelled. New accounts get 30 days of full access at no charge, beginning when you activate your first card. This is one trial per account — buying further cards does not start another and does not extend it. Prices may change with 30 days' notice; your current term is unaffected. Cancel any time from your dashboard, effective at the end of the paid period.

8. What we do not promise

  • That any review will be removed. We identify reviews that may breach Google's policies and make reporting straightforward. The decision is entirely Google's, and most reports do not result in removal.
  • Any particular number of reviews or rating. What happens depends on your business, not on us.
  • Uninterrupted service. We work hard on availability because a card that does not redirect is useless, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee at this stage.

9. Your content

Feedback your customers send you is yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, deliver it and generate your analytics. You are responsible for what you publish in replies.

10. When we look at your account

To answer a support question we may open your dashboard and see it as you see it. This is read-only — while we are looking we cannot post a reply, send a message, change a setting or touch your billing. Every time we do it, it is recorded on our side: who looked, which location, and when. We do it to solve a problem you have raised, never to browse. Private feedback from your customers stays yours, and we still never share it with anyone else.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business or lost reviews.

12. Ending it

You can close your account any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly clause 5. If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused portion of your subscription.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes belong to the courts of Harris County, Texas.

14. Changes

We will email account holders before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the revised terms.
